This is an excellent new blog to check out. In particular, read this post.
I'm tempted to say wear sunglasses while you're reading, as that virulent green about blew my eyeballs out, but some people might like it, I suppose. Nevertheless, it's waaaaay past time for some new templates here in Blogger-land.

Go Richie Go!
Read this:
I’d have sympathy if you were genuinely concerned with helping men. You aren’t. You are concerned with making life shit for everybody but men. Heterosexual white men, to be specific.
Go directly to Hell. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200, an ounce of my compassion or a fraction of my patience.
Feminism didn’t make women hate you. You did.
From now on, this is my answer to alpha male jackasses.

Gobsmacked
This is a hit out of the ballpark, far better than the pathetic Mr. Bonds.

All Hail the Beaver's Return
Biting Beaver is back!
Hers was one of the first radical feminist blogs I stumbled across, and I can say it made a profound difference to my thinking. Her writing is like fine wine. I'm not much of a wine connoisseur, but I do know there are wines you can just gulp down with no more effect or aftertaste than grape juice; and then there are wines you sip slowly, holding the exquisite flavor in your mouth to extract every nuance.
BB's blog is definitely falls into the latter category.
Her posts tend to be long, and sometimes not easy to take. They tend to strike at the heart of one's hidden prejudices, assumptions, and blind spots. We all have them, even those of us who like to think we're feminists. We need a catalyst like BB to mercilessly drag those blind spots into the full heat of the sun where we can get rid of them.
What are you waiting for? Go now. Peruse her blog, including all of the archives. Tremble in awe and worship at the feet (actually I shouldn't say that, she definitely wouldn't want to be worshipped) of one of the finest writers to grace the blogosphere.

By Any Other Name
Whew. Don't let the name of this blog put you off. Bea has a lot to say, and more of us--especially men--should listen.
