What Kind of DNA Have We Got?

This is a bigger box version of the multicolored bar to the right (or, as this post moves further down the page, the bar under the "Feminist of the Day" box) that purports to map out my personality traits. The quiz is found here.

I guess what's most interesting about the whole thing is the fact that the tiny color strip clear down in the right-hand corner represents my slice of "femininity"--i.e. 2%.

Like somebody told me at work the other day, I have bigger balls than most gorillas.

This is not to say I want to be a man--God knows, I would have absolutely no use for a penis. Frakking thing just gets in the way. But I have noticed that the older I get, the more assertive and (dare I say it) less tactful I become.

I took the quiz as well. It's interesting to me that I had "High Masculinity" and "Low Femininity".

That site defines "Masculinity" as "stereotypically male traits" and "Femininity" as "stereotypically female traits". I suppose that I'm wondering just what traits are typically male. Is it strength? Well, women are strong. Is it a deficit of mercy? Women are necessarily merciful (remember 7th grade?).

I suppose I could go back, take the test again, and answer as someone who (like my mother) is entrenched in the patriarchal church system. I'm sure I would score high in the feminine then.

I'm still ruminating on this, but what would be a way to describe the differences in traits other than "masculine" and "feminine"? Does there have to be "masculine" and "feminine"?
